Good Evening Neighbors:
We have a number of fun and exciting events coming up this month, so I wanted to get the word out to as many residents as possible.
I am attaching a copy of the 2025 Calendar so that you can keep up with everything going on. It has been updated as I had the wrong date for the Yard Sale on the last version.
The Annual Yard Sale and Craft Fair, will take place on Saturday, March 29th. See the details below which went out on NextDoor this week:
HTRA Annual Yard Sale and Craft Fair HTRA will be hosting our annual community yard sale the last Saturday in March (29th). It will run from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. It will be advertised in the NextDoor App, the Pilot newspaper, and signs will be placed at intersections to direct the shoppers to you. Additionally, a directory will be created and distributed to the shoppers. This is a rain or shine event. A minimum of 10 participants is required to hold the event. If you have only a few items and don't want to go through the hassle of a yard sale, you can donate them to HTRA and they will be sold by volunteers at our Lake and Dam entrance during the yard sale. All proceeds will be used to fund HTRA activities. Please contact me at the email address below with your address and leave your donated items in your driveway and they will be picked up Friday afternoon between 4:00 and 6:00 PM. At the same time, a Craft Sale will be held at our Lake and Dam entrance. Contact presidenthtra@gmail.com to reserve a table.
If you are going to conduct a yard sale and want your address and a summary of your items for sale listed in the directory, contact me via email JPBlueThumb@Gmail.com with the specifics.Thank you, John Portman The Dam Guy
If you have not yet responded to our quick surveys, we are trying to determine the following:
Do residents want the speed limit decreased to 25 mpg?
Do residents want us to continue working on building a pavilion?
Are residents interested in starting up and participating in some social groups, like Military Family Meetups, Hiking, Running?

Finally, if you have not yet paid your 2025 Highland Trails Residents Association Dues, please do so at the following link. Currently the dues are only $40 a year, and they help us with upkeep at the Lake and the entrances, and allow us to have social events. Dues can be paid at link below:
